Recipe for Cheese Butter Garlic Toast. When your wife takes advantage of your love for cooking, a story is cooked. So my wife, who is otherwise very disciplined with her eating habits gets this unusual hunger pangs at 2am.
So we look around in the kitchen just to find some breads. What do we do with it. Do we have garlic? She says Yes. Do we have some cheese and butter? And its a yes again. So we unanimously decide that I would make Cheese Butter Garlic Toast. So here is my story..
There are a lot of fancy ways to make Cheese Butter Garlic Toast. However, at 2am we just wanted to keep it simple. And believe me there is no better way to make Cheese Butter Garlic breads then making it in the simplest way possible.
So put on that chef apron and the chef hat. Lets cook to make memories.
Cheese Butter Garlic Toast
For Butter Garlic Spread
- 4 Tablespoon Butter
- 6-8 Garlic Pods (Crushed and Finely Chopped)
- 1 Teaspoon Mixed Herbs (Dried)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Parsley (Finely Chopped)
- 4 Slices White Bread
- 1 Cup Cheese (Grated)
- Chilly Flakes & Oregano (As per taste and garnishing)
For the Butter Garlic Spread
In a bowl, mix the butter & chopped garlic.
To the mixture, add the mixed herbs and parsley and keep aside. You butter garlic spread is ready.
For the Toast
Now take the bread slices and apply the spread evenly.
Heat a pan with lid, and place the bread slices and cook on low flame for about 5 minutes. Keep checking the base one in a while.
Once the base become slightly brownish and the cheese topping melts, serve it with a dip of your choice.
